First Snow of the Year

Woke up this morning to a thin blanket of white outside the window. Harley and Zeppe raced out with glee. Erin stopped at the patio’s edge and gave the snow a tenative sniff before venturing out into it. She seemed a little surprised at the sudden transformation from green to white. This was her first snow since leaving Canada at 9 weeks of age. After a few steps into the yard, she appeared to remember what that cold white stuff is all about and chased Zeppe around the yard in a game of Catch Me.

The snow did not last long, and it was almost all gone by the time I got home from work today. Forecast is predicting more snow for Wednesday night.
