Pupdate at 23 days

Friday, January 5th, 2007

It has been back to work this week after the holidays. I sure got spoiled being able to spend all day with the puppies. They are so fun to watch. It is easy to spend too much time with them and neglect the chores. Except the laundry, that is. The washing machine here has been [...]

Sunday, August 20th, 2006

Harley & I went to a CGC/TDI evaluation today. I have been wanting to get him certified as a Therapy Dog. He actually passed his CGC test back in 2001, but the club wasn’t offering a “TDI only” version of the test. So, we went ahead and redid the CGC as well. He earned a [...]

Harley was entered [...]

Laura Smith has put together a great resource for Toller breeders with her Stud Dog Directory. The directory not only lists Toller males in the US and Canada but includes Australia or any other country. The listing shows photos, health clearances and a brief description of the dog’s temperament as written by the [...]

CEA is Collie Eye Anomaly, a simple autosomal recessive genetic eye disease that affects several herding breeds and the Toller. CEA has exisited in the Toller since the early days of breed creation but was only recently discovered as a “known” [...]
